The Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce (ACCC) is one of the most established international chamber of commerces in Brisbane, originally established in the 1980's.

Due to the past President Rocky Chan's personal commitments to an architectural project in China, the Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce's operation was merged with another business organisation hence the name of Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce was unregistered in 1998.

In 1999, a number of entrepreneurs and business owners felt it necessary to re-register the Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and approached Mr Peter Huang to lead the new chamber. Subsequently a new management committee was formed and Mr Huang was elected the new President and the Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce was reregistered and incorporated as the Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce Inc.

To expand networking opportunities for members of the Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Huang initiated the Australian Chinese Chamber of Commerce's affiliation with Qld Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI), Qld Asian Joint Business Council (QAJBC) and Qld Chinese Forum (QCF).

ACCC Members have confirmed their support for 2 fundraising functions for the QLD Floods, 2011. The first is on Friday 21 January 2011, organized by the Chinese Forum and Sunnybank RSL; the second is on Sunday 30 January 2011, organized by the Chinese Consulate General and United Chinese Council. We anticipate over $20,000 will be donated to the QLD Flood Appeal by ACCC members.
